Abstract Review and Selection
The review of abstracts will take place in May. Each abstract will be reviewed by a minimum of three medical professionals who are experts on the specific topic that corresponds to the content of the abstract. Once all abstracts are reviewed and scored, the highest ranking abstracts are selected to be included in the programme in free paper sessions. Abstracts selected will either be presented as a podium or poster presentation during BIOSCON 2020 in Cardiff.

Abstract Notification
Abstract authors will receive notification regarding their submission by the end of May 2020. Please be aware that notification will be to the email address of the presenting author.

Oral presentation
All podium authors will be given five minutes to present. Seven minutes will be allocated for combined discussion at the end of the session. Session chairpersons are instructed to adhere strictly to time.

All successful abstracts will be submitted to the online BJJ publication and by submitting your abstract, you give permission for their publication unless otherwise notified. Please take special care of the requirements that follow (attached to email) or they will not be published.

There are three prizes for best papers: Best Paper (£200), Second Best (£150), Third Best (£100).

If the presenter is not the senior author, we request the senior author be present for discussion sessions.

We will also require a statement of conflict of interest from all presenters.

Poster presentation
Your poster must be A1 Portrait alignment (594mm wide x 841mm), please DO NOT exceed this size. Any Landscape posters will not fit and will not be eligible to be displayed.

N.B: All presenting authors must register to attend BIOSCON in order to present their abstract as a Podium or Poster presentation.

There is no discounted registration rate for presenting authors.
